DETAILS: Less than one mile west of the West Entrance, in the town of West Yellowstone, Montana, is the Chamber of Commerce and Public Land Information building. You'll find it at the corner of Canyon Street and Yellowstone Avenue. Ask the Ranger inside for the stamp. I was the first person to use this stamp, as it was brand new, had never been inked, and the ranger didn't even know it was there.

The Snake River Ranger Station is not a visitor center, so you will need to ask for the stamp at the information desk. They didn't know what it was for, but they had it.
