CONNECTICUT

Weir Farm NHS
Wilton, CT

The site is not easy to find because signage in Connecticut, as a general rule, is not very good.  Try going north up route 7 (from I-95, or The Merritt) and look for SR-102 just as you pass through Branchville.  SR-102 is also called Branchville Road. Take it west and turn left on Nod Hill Road (there should be a NPS sign at this turn).  Follow the road for .7 miles and the VC is on the right with a parking lot on the left. And they are only open Wednesday through Sunday!

Quinebaug and Shetucket River Valley NHC
Putnam, CT

The stamp says Putnam, but it really lives in Canterbury, in western Connecticut.  It can be found at the Prudence Crandall Museum, at the intersection of routes 14 and 169.  The museum is open Wednesday through Sunday, but call 860-546-9916 to check.
