ALABAMA

Horseshoe Bend NMP Tallapoosa County, AL
This place is in the middle of nowhere in Alabama. Route 49 cuts right through the park, about 12 miles north of Dadeville and just south of New Site. The ranger has the stamp in the visitor center, behind the desk. The tour road offers a nice view of the area. The day I visited I was the only person there.
Little River Canyon NP Fort Payne, AL
This stamp is kept at the Russell Cave NM (see below) and you'll have to ask for it, but the site is about an hour south. The awe-inspiring views are well worth the ride and the scenic road is great if you have the time.
Natchez Trace Parkway Colbert Ferry, AL
There is an information center located at milepost 327, on the southern side of the Tennessee River.
Russell Cave NM Bridgeport, AL
The site is about 7 miles north of Bridgeport on county roads 75 and 98. The stamp is in the visitor center. Ask the ranger for the Little River Canyon NP stamp which is in the desk.
Tuskegee Institute NHS Tuskegee, AL
The site is on the campus of Tuskegee University. You'll find the stamp in the George Washington Carver Museum, just as you enter the building. You can park over by The Oaks (the home of Booker T. Washington) or behind the museum.
